Who we are. London Sash Works Ltd is a family run, friendly and highly professional business working across South West London and the suburbs. We specialise in the repair, refurbishment and replacement of all kinds of traditional timber windows.
We can also install very high quality uPVC sash and casement windows from ' Roseview ' and ' Residence ' collections. We pride ourselves on having a flexible approach, always trying to find the best overall package to suit each customer's pocket.
We use the best materials and take absolute pride in our work. Steve and Adam Vanstone, father and son business owners personally oversee all our jobs, which are carried out by our full-time team of carpenters. What we do. Both commercial and domestic work undertaken. Operating out of our factory in Berkshire, we manufacture and install complete new sash windows , wooden casement windows, external French doors, timber Front doors, Stable doors, Sliding doors and Bi-fold doors. We also supply and install secondary glazing and new sashes into existing frames replacing just the moving parts for timber windows.
Our repair services comprise draught sealing and minor repairs. The majority of our replacement wooden windows and doors are double glazed. However, we can also manufacture single glazed windows and doors, or use our heritage glazing, where standard double glazing is unlikely to be approved listed buildings and some conservation areas.
We use a timber called Accoya, as standard, which is highly durable and stable. Accoya is a sustainably sourced timber which comes with a 50 year anti-rot guarantee. All our new windows and doors come fully factory finished and are draught proofed to further improve the soundproofing of the windows and improve the energy efficiency.
Our new wooden box sash windows are manufactured at our workshop in Berkshire by our experienced team of tradesmen to match the appearance of your property. Sadie Johnson. I had my windows refurbished by Traditional Windows. A great job, well done! I didn't even know that some of them were able to open until they were serviced properly! Mike Cranswick. Such a lovely job on the first part of my homes refurbishment. I look forward to seeing you again for phase 2.
Edith Bryers.
