I would rate my school as a great school entirely because I have never been to a public high school and Mount Miguel was my first one and I am currently attending as a Junior. I love the teachers and the staff is very friendly, but people give us a bad rap and call us " Mount Mighetto" but if they actually went to Mount they would think differently about it.
The classes aren't too crowded and every student gets the help they need whether its tutorial or Saturday scholars and there are so many things to do at Mount Miguel during break, lunch and after school from going in the choir room to going in the game room and after school going to the ice cream trucks.
Student Review 3y ago. Mount Vernon Elementary School. The school has a new principal who seems to be trying to make changes that will improve teacher support and parent concerns. The next couple of years will tell how effective those changes are. The school is IB and dual immersion so they do not fall under the normal guidelines.

My teenager walks to school in the early morning and after school and has never had problems. Every place is walking distance. Christian Church of Lemon Grove. Most people are nice. Lots of diversity. There are some maintenance things that could change and we could use some more nice restaurants but all in all we like the central location.

I moved away for a long time and now moving back it is still peaceful but a lot more run down. I feel like people dont have an option to have a green beautiful home anymore. Starbucks, Sprouts and a variety of specialty shops.
