Tim Kuhlman, ND Dr. Tim lived in Fairfax, Virginia as a child. He was raised by nutrition-oriented parents who took him to a homeopathic doctor when he was ill, where he was impressed by how quickly he healed and in a gentle and safe manner. That began his interest in all things homeopathy. His undergraduate work earned him a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He worked as a certified nurse assistant before graduating from Bastyr University in , an accredited naturopathic medical university.

He then became licensed as a naturopathic physician in Washington State. He met his wife at Bastyr University and they subsequently set up a family practice in North Carolina for 16 years. He specializes in natural family medicine.

He particularly enjoys the profound improvement in helping those with mental and emotional challenges. He uses stress management, nutrition, herbal and homeopathic medicines for their safety and efficacy. He practices naturopathic medicine with his wife, Dr. Preeta Kuhlman. He loves to dance salsa, ballroom and cha cha with his wife.
